History of Kathy's Cakes
Year 1966 Kathy completed 4 semesters of "Vocational Catering and Pastries" at Fullerton Jr. College. Throughout the years she worked for many top notched bakeries in Northern California, Southern California and Alaska. In 2000, after being head baker for Nordstroms in La Jolla, California for 5 years , she started her own bake shop in Paradise Hills area in San Diego. In 2007 Kathy and her husband bought a home and moved to Hemet to slow down a little.
MISSION
My mission is to provide my customers with a great tasting, custom designed cake for their wedding at a reasonable price. It will be delivered and set up in a timely manner.
RECENT WORK
Kathy works with every customer to create their special baked dessert weather it be a wedding cake, birthday cake, baby shower, graduation cake, baptism cake or cupcakes or custom party favor cookies.
Each tier can be a different flavor and filling at no extra charge.
Brides and grooms get a free 6" first anniversary cake free.
Baby's first birthday cake comes with a small smash cake free.
Cookies are designed to match the decor and color of the party and bagged and bowed.

Chocolate cookie crunch is chocolate cake with crumbled cookies and buttercream
Chocolate peanut butter cake is chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse and chips
Apple rum and spice cake is apple cake with rum buttercream and cinnamon
Red velvet supreme cake is filled with strawberry mousse
Ribbons and raspberry is alternate layers of white and chocolate cake filled with raspberry
Lemon supreme cake is lemon cake with pineapple mousse
Holiday pumpkin spice cake is filled with buttercream with cinnamon, ginger and clove
24 carat cake is baked with carrots and pineapple and has a spiced buttercream filling
Mellow n' yellow fudge cake is yellow cake with a rich chocolate filling
